Another Valentine

I have been working on SEVERAL Valentine cards this week. I saw a great new layout at http://StampedByAnAngel.blogspot.com and had to give it a try so this is what I came up with.

Fiskars meets the Cuttlebug!

Since my fellow DT members at Fire Cracker Designs by Pamela have added my blog to theirs I guess I better start using it. I will start with this little experiment I did of figuring out how to use all my previously unusable Fiskars texture plates with the Cuttlebug.
Start by spritzing both sides of the CS with water.
Next layer from the bottom up Cuttlebug Plate A, Fiskars plate, CS, a folded up paper towel or two depending on the thickeness, a piece of foam, Cuttlebug Plate C. Run this through the Bug.
Now look at that beautiful design!!! And wasn't that easy! Just wait for it to dry, or speed dry with your heat gun.

Monogram Art Pin

I created this pin for myself today. I stamped the word ART all over it in different fonts.

Then attached it to an altered chipboard background using beaded wire.

Never give up!

The craft show I did on the 17th was a bust. I only made $13. Wasn't even worth my time to drive up there or anything.Those of us with booths figure the lady who set it up just asked us to join so she wouldn't have to pay to rent the building for her own sale. She had 6 tables of her stuff and pretty much the only people who came were her customers. She was very rude to other venders too. Oh well, win some lose some. I am doing another show this weekend at the mall. It is a 3 day sale, so hopefully I will do a bit better than $13.

I am trying to get some more kid stuff made quick before Thursday night set up. This is a childs journal I made today.

Well I might as well post some of the other kid stuff I have been working on. Here are a couple more journals and some autograph books.

Ok, why do the pics always cluster together like that. If I wanted them all together I would have posted them all at the same time.

Oh I guess I better say some of these stamped images are Stampin Up.

Mail Art

I don't use my envy stamps nearly enought. But this art doll I made really needed a special box. So today I had some fun decorating it for her. Here's the doll and the box. The rules for the doll were that she had to represent ourselves. What do you think of "Art Me"?

While I was watching the game yesterday I was creating a lot. Here are some of the cards I made.

That sure was a lot of cutting! But it was fun!

I also made this card for my moms birthday. I actually remade it 3 times before I liked it. Now what am I going to make her for Christmas? hmmmm!

I decided to go back to pins for a while. I got about 40 of them started. Here are the first ones I finished today.

PUNKAPUNKAPUNKAN!!!!!!!!!!

Dylan just LOVES pumpkins and scarecrows!!! He gets very excited every time he sees one. Since I also love scarecrows I have several of them all over the house inside and out. And of course we have a lot of pumpkins around right now. He runs around the house pointing at each one and saying "PUNKAPUNKAPUNKAN!!!" or "AIRCO AIRCO AIRCO!!!"

So I thought I could get some really cute pictures of him in the pumkin patch like I did last year. But when we got there he was so excited I could not get him to sit still long enough to get a good pic. He just wanted to run run run and see everything, but not slow down long enough to really see anything. Here are the pics I got! Lyle had to hold him still by the BIG pumpkin, and Shelby is holding him in place by the cut outs.

Couldn't see that last one very well, so here they are seperate. Isn't he a cutie!!!

Pages of Dylan

Today I worked on some pages of Dylan when we went to Pamperin Park in August. It was his first visit there and he had SO MUCH FUN!!! He just ran all over the place and completely wore himself out. Of course he smiled the whole time as you can see.

Here is a bit more of what I worked on today. The Home on the Range 4X4 is a bit dark, but I am likeing it more and more. I also made the Hott Pink card for a swap I am doing.

Oh and here is an UP North 4x4 for another swap. And just a fun Autumn card I did a couple of weeks ago.

Fun Day!

Today Shelby and I went on an Art Tour. There are A LOT of very talented artists in our area. I think I learned as much as Shelby did today. Of course if she had her way we would have broke the bank on a 6 and a 1/2 foot tall Giraffe. Her collection of Giraffes is well into the 50s already. When we were done with the tour I just HAD to create!!! Of course I am still trying to get ready for the show I am doing next month so I worked on about 20 bracelets. When I got tired of those I worked on some 4X4s and cards. Here is what I did today.

This is a mix of Viva Las Vegas and LIWP. I'm not sure this guy is done, but I like him enough for now.

I can't create because I have been feeling so awful. This is the 3rd night in a row this flu or whatever it is has kept me from sleeping. It is not as bad as it has been so I think I am almost over it. The sooner the better! Then I can get back to creating and get some things posted. I will post some candles I made last week before I got sick then I am going to try that sleeping thing again!

These are some candles I did using Fire Cracker Designs by Pamela. They are so much fun to do!

Lisa G. got me started on these 4X4s. This was the first one I made and really is my favorite so far. I tried to recreate it on a 16X20 canvas and wasn't as happy with it as I am with this.

I've been trying to upload one of my 4X4's but apparently I can't load full sized pics. I guess I will have to wait until my pc gets fixed so I can mininmize again! DARN! What is the use of an Artist having a blog if she can't post her Art!

How did this happen?

Didn't I just tell Lisa last week that I hate blogs? What happened to make me create this thing? Well I guess it is Lisa and Pats posts with all their great work posted on it. I guess it is easier for me to share my art work with my far away friends and family if I join the blog world. SO HERE I AM!!!
